Version Specification

Kitex Release conventions.

Kitex complies with Semantic Versioning 2.0.0 release version.

  • Major Version: when Kitex provides incompatible API

  • Minor Version: when Kitex provides new features in a backward compatible manner

  • Patch Version: when Kitex makes backward compatible changes includes small features or makes bug fixes
